Marloes became a passionate gamer when she discovered pinball, RuneScape, and the Game Boy Advance at the age of seven. She began a gaming blog in her teens before obtaining a Master’s degree in political science, which, apparently, is how you end up a game journalist. After a few years in the business, Marloes has words on IGN, Gamesradar, Polygon, PCGamesN, Fanbyte, Esports Insider, VideoGamer, PCGamer, the second-largest newspaper in The Netherlands, and of course: RPS. Marloes has a special love for RPGs, city-builders, roguelikes, fighting games, and shooters, but she’ll happily try any game that doesn’t revolve around football or cars - unless it’s about football and cars. Skyrim will always be her second home.
